Pair that with 30g of protein from yoghurt and powder, and you’ve got steady energy, balanced blood sugar, and a metabolism that stays switched on. The walnuts bring in hormone-loving omega-3s and a little crunch — it’s comfort food that actually does something for you.

Ingredients ( 1 serve)

¾ cup (180g) plain Greek yoghurt (2% fat)

½ cup (100g) canned black beans, drained and rinsed

1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder

1 tbsp (7g) walnuts, chopped

Pinch of sea salt

Method

1.     Whisk the yoghurt and protein powder together until silky smooth, add salt.

2.     Swirl the yoghurt through the black beans (rinsed and drained).

3.     Top with chopped walnuts for crunch.

Per serve: 400 calories, 30g protein, Carbohydrates: 28g, Fibre: 7g, Fat: 14g
