Blueberry Protein Creami

Blueberry Protein Creami

Why this is peri-perfect...
When you're craving something cool, creamy, and genuinely good for you, this Blueberry Creami ticks every box. It blends protein, fibre, healthy fats, and antioxidants into one gut-loving, blood-sugar-friendly treat. Blueberries bring brain-boosting polyphenols (perfect for peri-fog days), while Greek yoghurt and chia seeds support digestion and satiety. With 30g of protein per serve, it helps stabilise insulin and cravings while also nurturing lean muscle. The chia gives it a scoopable texture, and the optional lemon zest or dark choc chips keep things bright and fun - because midlife eating should feel joyful, too. This isn’t dessert pretending to be healthy. It is healthy - and your hormones will thank you.

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 scoop (30g) vanilla or blueberry protein powder (whey or plant-based)

1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt (low-fat or full-fat — your call)

1 tbsp chia seeds (for fibre + texture)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1–2 tsp maple syrup or monk fruit sweetener (optional)

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or enough to blend)

Pinch of salt

Optional: squeeze of lemon or zest for brightness

Optional: top with 1 tsp dark choc chips or a sprinkle of flax

Instructions:

1.     Blend:
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend until very smooth and creamy.

2.     Freeze for Creami:
Pour mixture into a Ninja Creami container and freeze for 12–24 hours. Spin on “Lite Ice Cream” or “Smoothie Bowl” mode until smooth. Re-spin if needed with a splash of extra almond milk.

3.     Serve:
Scoop into 2 bowls and top with extra berries, crushed almonds, or dark chocolate shavings if your macros allow.
