Peanut Butter & Cacao Protein Creami

Peanut Butter & Cacao Protein Creami

Our teenage daughter Jemima talked me into buying a Ninja Creami and I have to admit - OBSESSED. The hype is real here. It really does deliver incredible home-made ice cream (that I’m sneakily stuffing with healthy ingredients).

Why this is peri-perfect… This isn’t just dessert - it’s a midlife masterstroke. With 30g of protein per serve, this Creami helps support muscle, balance blood sugar, and beat the late-night snack attack before it even starts. Peanut butter brings in healthy fats to keep you full and calm, while Greek yoghurt adds creaminess and gut-friendly probiotics. Cacao isn’t just chocolatey bliss - it’s also rich in magnesium, iron, and mood-boosting compounds that many women in perimenopause are low in. It’s rich, silky, and deeply satisfying… but with none of the hormone-disrupting sugar spikes of traditional ice cream. Basically, it’s what you wish ice cream did for your body. And now, it does.

Ingredients: 2 serves

1½ cups unsweetened almond milk

60g protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)

·2 tbsp natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

2 tbsp Greek yoghurt

1 tbs cacao

½ tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt (enhances flavour!)

Method:

1.     Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

2.     Pour into your Creami pint container and freeze overnight.

3.     Spin on “Lite Ice Cream” mode. If it’s crumbly, re-spin with a splash of almond milk.
